Dublin Airport - Case Study
Following a competitive tender process in Oct 2007 SurfBox was chosen to supply Dublin Airport with "Pay as you go" Internet access kiosks.
There are 78 SurfBox Internet Kiosks installed at Dublin Airport, which provides Internet Access for 23 million passengers annually, the kiosks are situated both landside before security clearance and airside near the departure gates. We have A4 thermal printers installed on the kiosks landside in Arrivals and the main chech in hall.
Challenge
Dublin Airport wanted to provide internet access to enhance the overall passenger experience whilst also contributing to the airport services revenue.
Our Solution
As an airport retail concessionaire, SurfBox installed Internet kiosks with printing, contributing a percentage of the revenue generated to the airport.
Benefit
Passengers welcomed the provision of the SurfBox Internet kiosks which allowed them internet access without the need to carry a laptop, and the the airport earn additional revenue.
